John is part of a national leadership development team based out of T-Mobile USA corporate. He is remotely deployed at the Redmond Oregon Customer Care call center and is responsible for the development of a leadership team of 100. He came to T-Mobile USA after two and one half years at Kah-Nee-Ta High Desert Resort and Casino as the OD and Training Manager where he was responsible for the development of a team of 60 leaders. John completed his masters degree in adult education with a focus on organizational development and training in 2003 after over 25 years on the operational value delivery side of organizations and is now working on his doctorate. John has always had a passion for the development of organizations that support the creation of high performance teams and team members. He decided to dedicate his career to that end when he made the commitment in time and dollars to complete the three year masters program at OSU while working full time and supporting his family.
John has been developing team members for years as a manager and trainer and has a passion for the development of learners of all ages. He is operational fluent and understand all aspects of an organization, particularly small to medium size enterprises where he has spent most of his career. He helped start and develop a successful software company in the 90's and has worked in three other technology companies as a marketing executive. He has been on the start up team for several other organizations as well and understands what it takes to build a quality managed and customer responsive organization. As a consultant he worked with over 30 clients helping develop cultures that support quality management and customer responsiveness. John is technology fluent and understands effective technology implementations that are not based on blue sky usage or bells and whistles that are unnecessary and expensive.
Three weeks in South India volunteering at LAICO-Aravind Eye Care System: Focused on introducing learner-centered methodologies into the training institute. Continued work with Seva and Aravind.
Consulting on organizational development and marketing. Provide workshops for leadership and team members on delivery of mission to adoptive parents. Past Vice Chair of the board of directors.
